2	8		WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
3	9		join the citizens of Beaumont, Port Arthur, Orange, and the
4	10		surrounding communities in celebrating March 3 and 4, 2025, as
5	11		Golden Triangle Days in Austin; and
6	12		WHEREAS, Golden Triangle Days in Austin was established in
7	13		2007, when leaders from the Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange
8	14		chambers of commerce decided to combine their advocacy efforts
9	15		during sessions of the Texas Legislature; and
10	16		WHEREAS, Golden Triangle Days in Austin provides an
11	17		opportunity for citizens to build business relationships with
12	18		others throughout Southeast Texas and with state officials and
13	19		agency directors; representatives from Beaumont, Bridge City,
14	20		Groves, Nederland, Orange, Port Arthur, Port Neches, and Vidor
15	21		are participating in this important event; and
16	22		WHEREAS, The chambers of commerce of the Golden Triangle
17	23		are truly deserving of special recognition for their efforts to
18	24		organize this event, which benefits Southeast Texas families and
19	25		businesses; now, therefore, be it
20	26		RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
21	27		Legislature, hereby extend best wishes for a successful and
22	28		rewarding event to all those attending Golden Triangle Days in
23	29		Austin; and, be it further
24	30		RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared in
25	31		honor of this special occasion.
