28 WHEREAS, The Woman's Forum of Wichita Falls is marking its
39 100th anniversary in 2025, providing a welcome opportunity to pay
410 tribute to its rich legacy of service and community engagement; and
5- WHEREAS, This venerable organization was established in
6- 1925 by 30 charter members who wanted to be of greater service to
7- the community and who sought to create a space where women could

814 exchange ideas and cultivate meaningful change; and
915 WHEREAS, Over the years, the group has sponsored various
1016 departments and clubs, and the current lineup includes the Senior
11- Junior Forum, which is focused on local service initiatives, as well
12- as the Book Club, Garden Club, Culture Club, Gourmet Club, Bridge
13- Club, and two clubs for high school students; moreover, the

1420 organization has hosted such distinguished guests as Amelia

1622 WHEREAS, Today, the forum includes more than 300 women
17- encompassing a broad range of ages, and it has expanded its
18- mission in recent years to place a stronger emphasis on academic
19- pursuits and the study of fine arts; and

25- RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
26- Legislature, hereby commemorate the 100th anniversary of the
27- Woman's Forum of Wichita Falls and extend to all those affiliated
28- with the organization sincere best wishes for continued success;
29- and, be it further
31+ RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature
32+ hereby commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Woman's Forum of
33+ Wichita Falls and extend to all those affiliated with the
34+ organization sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it
