| 6 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Founded in 1985, Collin College has steadily |

| 7 | 12 | | expanded to meet the needs of the region, which now ranks among |

| 8 | 13 | | the fastest-growing in the nation; today, the institution serves |
|---|
| 9 | 14 | | more than 60,000 students at 10 campuses, including the iCollin |
|---|
| 10 | 15 | | Virtual Campus; and |
|---|
| 11 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Collin College offers over 200 degrees and |
|---|
| 12 | 17 | | certificate programs, including baccalaureate degrees in clinical |
|---|
| 13 | 18 | | operations management, construction management, cybersecurity, and |
|---|
| 14 | 19 | | nursing, as well as workforce programs designed to prepare students |

| 15 | 20 | | for high-wage, high-demand careers; and |
|---|
| 16 | 21 | | WHEREAS, While promoting academic excellence, Collin |
|---|
| 17 | 22 | | College has maintained the lowest in-district tuition in the |
|---|
| 18 | 23 | | state, has among the highest student success rates, and has |
|---|
| 19 | 24 | | gained national recognition for affordability; as a |
|---|
| 20 | 25 | | community-centered institution, it also strives to foster |
|---|
| 21 | 26 | | innovation, character, and a tradition of service; and |

| 22 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Collin College has successfully cultivated a |

| 23 | 28 | | vibrant student life; its active Student Government Association |

| 24 | 29 | | has received numerous accolades as a member of the Texas Junior |

| 25 | 30 | | College Student Government Association, Region II; moreover, the |
|---|

| 27 | 32 | | basketball, tennis, and golf; in 2024, the Lady Cougars won the |

| 28 | 33 | | National Junior College Athletic Association Region V Tournament |

| 33 | 38 | | WHEREAS, Over the course of four decades, Collin College |
