20 | 27 | | Safety Officials represent telecommunicators, directors, |

21 | 28 | | planning professionals, and industry service providers, it is |

22 | 29 | | crucial that policymakers at all levels of government understand |

23 | 30 | | the importance of 9-1-1, the intricacies of the current system, |

24 | 31 | | and the necessary steps for the ongoing modernization of the |

25 | 32 | | 9-1-1 system in Texas; now, therefore, be it |

26 | 33 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th |

27 | 34 | | Legislature, hereby recognize February 3, 2025, as 9-1-1 Day at |

28 | 35 | | the State Capitol and commend all public safety |

29 | 36 | | telecommunicators on their invaluable service to the Lone Star |
