2	8		WHEREAS, The Texas DeMolay Association is widely acclaimed
3	9		and esteemed for its success in developing leadership and in
4	10		nurturing good citizenship and patriotism in young men; and
5	11		WHEREAS, The Texas DeMolay Association is sponsoring a
6	12		legislative seminar to educate its members about the process of
7	13		democratic government, both in theory and in practice; and
8	14		WHEREAS, This valuable and comprehensive educational
9	15		program will attract participants from throughout the state to
10	16		acquaint DeMolay members with legislative procedures; and
11	17		WHEREAS, The DeMolay legislative seminar is to be held in
12	18		Austin on February 8 and 9, 2025; and
13	19		WHEREAS, The Texas Senate heartily endorses the goals and
14	20		ideals of the Texas DeMolay Association legislative seminar;
15	21		now, therefore, be it
16	22		RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
17	23		Legislature, in accordance with Senate rules of procedure and
18	24		policies of the Senate Administration Committee, hereby grant
19	25		the Texas DeMolay Association permission to use the Senate
20	26		Chamber in the State Capitol on February 8 and 9, 2025, for its
21	27		legislative seminar, unless the Texas Senate is in session on
22	28		those dates.
