 SENATE RESOLUTION
 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
 recognize Dallyn Pesek, Miss Texas Teen USA 2024, who is visiting
 Austin to celebrate Miss Texas Day at the State Capitol on March
 28, 2025; and
 WHEREAS, Dallyn Pesek claimed the honor of Miss Texas Teen
 USA at a competition held on June 22, 2024, after impressing
 judges in a number of categories; she went on to represent Texas
 at Miss Teen USA 2024 and placed among the top 20 contestants; and
 WHEREAS, Currently a senior at Saint Paul High School in
 Shiner, Dallyn is a member of the National Honor Society and
 Student Council and is a versatile athlete involved in five
 sports; she displays leadership and pride as her school's varsity
 cheer captain, and she has utilized her athletic skills and her
 passion for serving alongside people with disabilities as a
 special needs cheer coach and pageant director; and
 WHEREAS, Inspired by her experiences as a friend and
 mentor to many young people and individuals with special needs
 while serving her community, she plans to attend The University
 of Texas at Austin to pursue a career in pediatric neurology and
 continue her work with individuals with special needs in the
 medical field; and
 WHEREAS, Dallyn Pesek is an exemplary young lady who is
 dedicated to representing her state with grace and dignity, and
 her many interests and accomplishments reflect her sincerity and
 hard work; she has demonstrated an admirable commitment to
 excellence in pursuing her goals, and she is a source of great
 pride to her family, her community, and her fellow Texans; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
 Legislature, hereby commend Dallyn Pesek on her contributions as
 Miss Texas Teen USA 2024 and extend to her sincere best wishes for
 continued success; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
