| 8 | 14 | | Bellaire High School by a score of 54-52 on March 9, 2025, in a |

| 9 | 15 | | hard-fought victory at the Alamodome in San Antonio; and |

| 10 | 16 | | WHEREAS, These young athletes have demonstrated great |

| 11 | 17 | | talent and perseverance throughout the school year, and team |
|---|
| 12 | 18 | | members can take pride in their outstanding accomplishment; and |

| 13 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Under the superior leadership of head coach David |

| 14 | 20 | | Peavy and assistant coaches Christopher Thomas, Jay Cosme, |

| 15 | 21 | | Darrin Session, and Brent Jones, the Panthers have developed |

| 16 | 22 | | exceptional teamwork and discipline; and |

| 17 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Duncanville High School and the City of |

| 18 | 24 | | Duncanville are proud of the Panthers for their hard work, their |

| 19 | 25 | | impressive skills, and their fine sportsmanship; now, therefore, |

| 21 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th |

| 22 | 28 | | Legislature, hereby commend the Duncanville Panthers boys' |
