58 WHEREAS, The passing of Eva Marie Coe of Tyler on
6- February 18, 2025, at the age of 56, concluded a remarkable life
7- of service in the ministry; and
8- WHEREAS, The former "Eve" Alvarez was born in Napoleon,
9- Ohio, on August 6, 1968, to Leonel and Eva Alvarez, and she grew
10- up with six siblings; she was born again at the age of 17, and she
11- went on to marry the love of her life and her ministry partner,
12- Jeremy Coe; over the course of a fulfilling marriage spanning 26
13- years, the couple raised four children, Casandra, Brenton,
14- Jeremy, and Raquel; they also experienced the joy of welcoming
15- six grandchildren into their treasured family; and

11+ WHEREAS, The former "Eve" Alvarez was born in Napoleon, Ohio,
12+ on August 6, 1968, to Leonel and Eva Alvarez, and she grew up with

14+ marry the love of her life and her ministry partner, Jeremy Coe;
15+ over the course of a fulfilling marriage spanning 26 years, the
16+ couple raised four children, Casandra, Brenton, Jeremy, and Raquel;
17+ they also experienced the joy of welcoming six grandchildren into
18+ their treasured family; and
1619 WHEREAS, After traveling full time for about a decade,
17- Mrs. Coe and her husband moved to Henderson, where they founded
18- the nondenominational Just As You Are Church in 2001; the couple
19- relocated their ministry to Tyler as Real Life Church in 2013,
20- and three years later, they sold their church building to focus
21- on prison ministry; in 2021, Mr. and Mrs. Coe launched Real Talk,
22- a weekly radio program for prisoners that aired in Texas, New
23- Mexico, Oklahoma, and Louisiana; it expanded and became Real Vida
24- TV in 2023, producing audio and video podcasts for viewers both
25- inside and outside of prison walls; the program has since reached
26- millions of prisoners in every state and countless fans around
27- the world; affectionately known as "Mama Eve, the mother of all
28- prisoners," Mrs. Coe served for more than 35 years in the
29- ministry, speaking and singing in English and Spanish at
30- churches, prisons, and schools on three continents; and
31- WHEREAS, An engaged citizen and an admired spiritual
32- leader, Eve Coe leaves behind a legacy that will long be
33- remembered by all those who were blessed to know her; now,
34- therefore, be it
35- RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
36- Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the memory of Eva Marie Coe and
37- extend deepest condolences to the members of her family: to her
38- husband, Jeremy Daniel Coe; to her children, Casandra Grace
39- Aguilar and her fiancé, Zach Gerken, Brenton Lee Coe, Jeremy
40- Daniel Coe II and his wife, Sarah, and Raquel Belen Coe; to her
41- grandchildren, Mitchell, Natalie, Josiah, Jocelyn, Damon, and
42- Navaeh; to her father, Leonel Alvarez; to her mother, Eva Torres
43- Alvarez; to her siblings, Jane Rosario and her husband, Sullivan,
44- Richard Alvarez, Maria Alvarez and her husband, Frank Azok, Alice
45- Bower, Bertha Valenti and her husband, Sam, and Leonel Alvarez Jr.
46- and his wife, Natalie; and to her many other relatives and friends;
47- and, be it further

41+ Zach Gerken, Brenton Lee Coe, Jeremy Daniel Coe II and his wife,
