| 7 | 13 | | organized by Buddhist believers in Taiwan in 1991 as China Buddha |

| 8 | 14 | | Light Association, and it has since expanded to include chapters |

| 9 | 15 | | in more than 100 countries across five continents and a global |
|---|
| 10 | 16 | | membership exceeding one million individuals; and |
|---|
| 11 | 17 | | WHEREAS, This prestigious fellowship event is being hosted |

| 12 | 18 | | by the Austin, Houston, and Dallas chapters of the organization, |
|---|
| 13 | 19 | | and it marks the first time the event will occur in Austin; it |

| 14 | 20 | | will include special celebrations and activities to foster |
|---|
| 15 | 21 | | cross-cultural understanding and promote peace, harmony, and |
|---|

|---|
