28 WHEREAS, The Texas Authors Museum & Institute of History is
39 celebrating its 10th anniversary in April 2025; and
410 WHEREAS, This outstanding organization traces its roots to
5- 2014, when B. Alan Bourgeois established the first museum
6- dedicated to preserving the legacy of Texas authors; since its
7- inception, the nonprofit has curated a comprehensive collection
8- of rare manuscripts, first editions, personal papers, and other
9- literary artifacts, helping to ensure that the state's rich
10- literary history is accessible to researchers, historians,
11- educators, and the general public; in addition, the organization
12- has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to supporting the
13- publishing industry in Texas, which annually generates more than
14- $500 million in tax revenue; and

33- RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
34- Legislature, hereby commemorate the 10th anniversary of the
35- Texas Authors Museum & Institute of History and extend to all
36- those affiliated with the organization sincere best wishes for
37- the future; and, be it further
38+ RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature
39+ hereby commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Texas Authors Museum &
40+ Institute of History and extend to all those affiliated with the
41+ organization sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
3842 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
