2	8		WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
3		-	recognize the team members of the Stephen F. Austin State University
4		-	Sylvans for their outstanding achievement in winning the 66th Annual
5		-	Association of Southern Forestry Clubs Conclave; and
6		-	WHEREAS, Founded in 1946, the Stephen F. Austin State
7		-	University Sylvans are a social forestry club for students that has
8		-	a long and distinguished history of excellence in the practice of
9		-	forestry; the Sylvans were a founding member of the Association of
10		-	Southern Forestry Clubs in 1958, and today, the club continues to
11		-	promote forestry education and takes part in competitions of
12		-	forestry skills and knowledge; and

13	20		WHEREAS, The Sylvans' victory at the 66th Annual Conclave
14		-	marks their 19th overall title and extends their winning streak to
15		-	seven consecutive conclaves, tying the record for the longest

22		-	WHEREAS, Among the Sylvans' many outstanding performances, a
23		-	record-setting achievement in the women's crosscut event by ~~Holly~~
