| 12 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Coach Chadwick began his tenure at Texas A&M |

| 13 | 19 | | University--Corpus Christi in 2012, and he has since become the |

| 14 | 20 | | winningest coach in Southland Conference history; during the |
|---|
| 15 | 21 | | 2023-2024 season, he also became the first men's or women's |

| 16 | 22 | | basketball coach in the university's history to reach a 750-win |
|---|
| 17 | 23 | | total in his career; and |
|---|
| 18 | 24 | | WHEREAS, An exemplary coach, colleague, and mentor, Royce |

| 19 | 25 | | Chadwick has had a positive impact on the lives of countless |

| 20 | 26 | | young people, and his presence at Texas A&M University--Corpus |

| 21 | 27 | | Christi will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it |

| 22 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th |

| 23 | 29 | | Legislature, hereby commend Royce Chadwick on his illustrious |

| 24 | 30 | | career as a basketball coach and extend to him best wishes for |
