8+ WHEREAS, Members of Leadership Garland are visiting the State
9+ Capitol on May 7, 2025, and this occasion provides a fitting
10+ opportunity to recognize this notable group; and
511 WHEREAS, Sponsored by the Garland Chamber of Commerce,
6- Leadership Garland provides corporate leadership training and
7- aims to motivate and inspire civic leaders; over the course of
8- nine months, participants, who represent a broad spectrum of
9- backgrounds and interests, are given the tools to expand their
10- leadership roles and involvement within the community; moreover,
11- graduates of the program represent a robust alumni network of
12- industry leaders, elected officials, and public servants who
13- have access to continual learning and networking opportunities;
14- and
15- WHEREAS, By fostering a more informed and engaged
16- citizenry and developing innovators, Leadership Garland is
17- helping to build a brighter and more prosperous future for the
18- Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it
19- RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
20- Legislature, hereby recognize May 7, 2025, as Leadership Garland
21- Day at the State Capitol and extend to all participants sincere
22- best wishes for continued success.
