28 WHEREAS, Cindy Ramos-Davidson of El Paso has greatly
39 benefited her fellow citizens through her wide-ranging
410 contributions to her community; and
511 WHEREAS, Educated in the El Paso public school system,
6- Mrs. Ramos-Davidson graduated from Bel Air High School and
7- earned her degree from The University of Texas at El Paso; she
8- went on to establish a notable career as chamber executive, which
9- has been highlighted by her 27-year tenure as CEO of the El Paso
10- Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; under her direction, the
11- organization has fostered more than 20,000 startups, created or
12- retained over 30,000 jobs, and driven nearly $750 million in
13- economic impact across the region; and
12+ Mrs. Ramos-Davidson graduated from Bel Air High School and earned
13+ her degree from The University of Texas at El Paso; she went on to

15- been demonstrated in other capacities; she has served as a member
16- of the El Paso branch board of directors of the Federal Reserve
17- Bank of Dallas, the Texas Military Support Task Force, and the
21+ been demonstrated in other capacities; she has served as a member of
22+ the El Paso branch board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of
23+ Dallas, the Texas Military Support Task Force, and the
1824 U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce President's Advisory Council;
1925 her many accolades include the 2018 Joe M. Rodriguez Leadership
2026 Award from the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of
21- Commerce and a 2014 Woman of Impact Award from El Paso Inc., and
22- she was named the Chief Executive of the Year by the United States
23- Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; in all her endeavors, she enjoys
24- the love and support of her husband, Robert L. Davidson, and she
25- takes great pride in their daughter, Sarina Lora Davidson; and

2632 WHEREAS, A true champion of the borderland, Cindy
27- Ramos-Davidson has distinguished herself through her commitment
28- to supporting underserved communities, empowering small
29- businesses, and mentoring the next generation of leaders, and her
30- achievements will continue to resonate in the El Paso area for
31- many years to come; now, therefore, be it
32- RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
33- Legislature, hereby commend Cindy Ramos-Davidson for her
34- contributions to the city of El Paso and extend to her sincere
35- appreciation for her exemplary efforts; and, be it further
33+ Ramos-Davidson has distinguished herself through her commitment to
34+ supporting underserved communities, empowering small businesses,
35+ and mentoring the next generation of leaders, and her achievements
36+ will continue to resonate in the El Paso area for many years to
37+ come; now, therefore, be it
38+ RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature
