| 11 | | - | WHEREAS, Each year, the General Federation of Women's Clubs |

| 12 | | - | of Texas awards numerous scholarships to support students who are |

| 13 | | - | pursuing higher education in Texas, and in 2024, members |

| 20 | 26 | | one of the most urgent and devastating forms of violence against |
|---|

| 22 | 28 | | WHEREAS, The federation fosters a culture of successful |

| 23 | 29 | | women who are ready to reach their goals by providing its club |

| 24 | 30 | | members with opportunities to serve and encourage others and to |
|---|
| 25 | 31 | | build strong relationships; and |

| 26 | 32 | | WHEREAS, All associated with the Texas Federation of |

| 27 | 33 | | Women's Clubs are truly deserving of special recognition for |

| 28 | 34 | | their efforts to improve lives, empower women, and strengthen |
|---|
| 29 | 35 | | communities in the Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it |

| 30 | 36 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th |

| 31 | 37 | | Legislature, hereby commend the members of the General |

| 32 | 38 | | Federation of Women's Clubs of Texas on their unwavering |
