2	8		WHEREAS, Members of NAIFA-Texas are gathering at the State
3		-	Capitol from February 10 to 12, 2025, and this occasion provides
4		-	an ideal opportunity to congratulate the organization on its
5		-	~~100th~~ anniversary; and

6	12		WHEREAS, Founded in 1925 as the Texas Association of Life
7		-	Underwriters, NAIFA-Texas advocates for the business interests
8		-	of more than 1,300 members across the state; a chapter of the
9		-	National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, it
10		-	promotes ethical conduct and helps professionals enhance their
11		-	skills; and
12		-	WHEREAS, Over the course of a century, NAIFA-Texas has
13		-	worked tirelessly on behalf of thousands of insurance and
14		-	financial service professionals and served as an important voice
15		-	for consumers, and this esteemed organization is indeed worthy of
	13	+	Underwriters, NAIFA-Texas advocates for the business interests of
	14	+	more than 1,300 members across the state; a chapter of the National
	15	+	Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, it promotes
	16	+	ethical conduct and helps professionals enhance their skills; and
	17	+	WHEREAS, Over the course of a century, NAIFA-Texas has worked
	18	+	tirelessly on behalf of thousands of insurance and financial
	19	+	service professionals and served as an important voice for
	20	+	consumers, and this esteemed organization is indeed worthy of
16	21		recognition for its contributions; now, therefore, be it
17		-	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the ~~State of~~ Texas~~, 89th~~
18		-	~~Legislature,~~ hereby commemorate the centennial of NAIFA-Texas
19		-	~~and extend to its~~ members sincere best wishes for an enjoyable
20		-	~~and productive visit~~ to Austin; and, be it further

	23	+	hereby commemorate the centennial of NAIFA-Texas and extend to its
	24	+	members sincere best wishes for an enjoyable and productive visit

21	26		RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
22		-	prepared for the association as an expression of high regard from
23		-	the Texas Senate.
