2	7		WHEREAS, Harmony Public Schools is celebrating the 25th
3	8		anniversary of its founding in 2025, providing a fitting
4	9		opportunity to recognize this expansive charter school system
5	10		for providing high-quality, STEM-centered education to numerous
6	11		young Texans; and
7	12		WHEREAS, In 2000, Harmony Public Schools opened its first
8	13		campus in Houston, and today, there are more than 60 locations in
9	14		seven districts across the state; Harmony provides students with
10	15		a rigorous curriculum that emphasizes science, technology,
11	16		engineering, and math in a caring and collaborative environment;
12	17		its educators are committed to ensuring that youth have the
13	18		skills they need to excel in college and to become productive
14	19		members of their communities; and
15	20		WHEREAS, Over the years, the Harmony Public Schools system
16	21		has developed a robust partner network that includes curriculum
17	22		providers, IBC Certification organizations, STEM competition
18	23		coalitions, professional learning companies, and equipment
19	24		suppliers; moreover, Harmony has established makerspaces
20	25		equipped with prototyping tools such as 3D printers, laser
21	26		cutters, and CNC machines; and
22	27		WHEREAS, For a quarter century, the faculty, staff, and
23	28		administrators of Harmony Public Schools have dedicated
24	29		themselves to meeting the educational needs of their students,
25	30		and the school system has played a vital role in helping many
26	31		young Texans build a bright and fulfilling future; now,
27	32		therefore, be it
28		-	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
29		-	Legislature, hereby commemorate the 25th anniversary of Harmony
30		-	Public Schools and extend to all those associated with the school
31		-	system sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it
