2	8		WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
3	9		recognize the state's certified registered nurse anesthetists in
4	10		honor of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists Week in Texas,
5	11		which took place January 19 through 25, 2025; and
6	12		WHEREAS, Certified registered nurse anesthetists are
7	13		advanced practice registered nurses who play an essential role in
8	14		our health care system; they are the primary providers of
9	15		anesthesia in rural and underserved areas in Texas and to United
10	16		States military personnel; and
11	17		WHEREAS, With extensive experience in critical care
12	18		nursing and anesthesia care, nurse anesthetists practice in a
13	19		broad spectrum of medical settings; they are qualified to make
14	20		independent judgments regarding all aspects of anesthesia, and
15	21		their expertise is a vital element of care in traditional
16	22		operating rooms, general practice offices, and specialty
17	23		clinics; and
18	24		WHEREAS, Texas is proud to pay tribute to these trusted
19	25		health care professionals who have devoted their careers to
20	26		providing safe and compassionate care to all patients, and it is
21	27		indeed fitting that CRNA Week be recognized in honor of their
22	28		many contributions to the health and well-being of Texans; now,
23	29		therefore, be it
24	30		RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
25	31		Legislature, hereby commend all who serve as certified
26	32		registered nurse anesthetists in Texas for the important role
27	33		they play in the provision of quality health care; and, be it
28	34		further
29	35		RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared in
30	36		honor of these dedicated health care specialists.
