1515 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
1616 SECTION 1. NOTIFICATION RESPECTING CERTAIN EXECU-3
1717 TIVE ORDERS. 4
1818 (a) I
1919 NGENERAL.—Not later than 30 days before 5
2020 issuing a qualifying executive order, the President shall 6
2121 transmit to the Congress, and make publicly available, a 7
2222 notification with respect to such executive order. Such no-8
2323 tification shall contain— 9
2424 (1) the text of the executive order; 10

2828 (2) the Federal law or laws affected by the ex-1
2929 ecutive order that is the subject of the notification; 2
3030 (3) how the President is working within the pa-3
3131 rameters specified in Federal law and the Constitu-4
3232 tion; 5
3333 (4) the means by which the executive order will 6
3434 be accomplished, including through any related Fed-7
3535 eral agencies or departments; and 8
3636 (5) a comprehensive list of organizations, busi-9
3737 nesses, and other parties or entities the President, 10
3838 or the President’s designee, engaged with prior to 11
3939 the issuance of such executive order. 12

4141 EPORTS.—Not later than 6 months after the 13
4242 date of the enactment of this Act, and every 12 months 14
4343 thereafter, the President shall submit to the Congress a 15
4444 report on the outcome of each qualifying executive order 16
4545 issued during the period covered by the report. 17

4747 UALIFYINGEXECUTIVEORDER.—The term 18
4848 ‘‘qualifying executive order’’ means any executive order 19
4949 (including an executive order that revokes or nullifies a 20
5050 previous executive order) issued on or after the date of 21
5151 the enactment of this Act, relating to the energy policy 22
5252 of the United States. 23
