3030 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Federal Reserve 4
3131 Transparency Act of 2023’’. 5

3939 NGENERAL.—Notwithstanding section 714 of 4
4040 title 31, United States Code, or any other provision of law, 5
4141 the Comptroller General of the United States shall com-6
4242 plete an audit of the Board of Governors of the Federal 7
4343 Reserve System and the Federal reserve banks under sub-8
4444 section (b) of such section 714 within 12 months after 9
4545 the date of the enactment of this Act. 10

4848 (1) I
4949 N GENERAL.—Not later than 90 days after 12
5050 the audit required pursuant to subsection (a) is com-13
5151 pleted, the Comptroller General— 14
5252 (A) shall submit to Congress a report on 15
5353 such audit; and 16
5454 (B) shall make such report available to the 17
5555 Speaker of the House, the majority and minor-18
5656 ity leaders of the House of Representatives, the 19
5757 majority and minority leaders of the Senate, the 20
5858 Chairman and Ranking Member of the com-21
5959 mittee and each subcommittee of jurisdiction in 22
6060 the House of Representatives and the Senate, 23
6161 and any other Member of Congress who re-24
6262 quests the report. 25

7575 (b) of section 714 of title 31, United States Code, is 9
7676 amended by striking the second sentence. 10

8686 and inserting ‘‘section 13(3)’’; and 18
