To adjust the minimum rate of basic pay for members of
the Armed Forces.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Raising the Annual 4
Income of Servicemembers by Enhancing Minimum Base 5
Pay Act’’ or the ‘‘RAISE Minimum Base Pay Act’’. 6
SEC. 2. MINIMUM RATE OF BASIC PAY FOR A MEMBER OF 7
THE ARMED FORCES. 8
Not later than 30 days after the enactment of this 9
Act, the rate of basic pay for a member of the Armed 10
