37 | 37 | | Cyber Command and the Commander of the United States 8 |

38 | 38 | | Indo-Pacific Command, shall seek to engage the Govern-9 |
---|
39 | 39 | | ment of Taiwan for the purpose of expanding cooperation 10 |

40 | 40 | | on military cybersecurity activities. 11 |

42 | 42 | | OOPERATIONEFFORTS.—In expanding the co-12 |

43 | 43 | | operation of military cybersecurity activities between the 13 |
---|
44 | 44 | | Department of Defense and the Government of Taiwan 14 |

45 | 45 | | under subsection (a), the Secretary of Defense may carry 15 |
---|
46 | 46 | | out efforts to— 16 |
---|
47 | 47 | | (1) actively defend military networks, infra-17 |
---|
48 | 48 | | structure, and systems; 18 |
---|
49 | 49 | | (2) eradicate malicious cyber activity that has 19 |
---|
50 | 50 | | compromised such networks, infrastructure, and sys-20 |
---|
51 | 51 | | tems; 21 |
---|
52 | 52 | | (3) leverage United States commercial and mili-22 |
---|
53 | 53 | | tary cybersecurity technology and services to harden 23 |
---|
54 | 54 | | and defend such networks, infrastructure, and sys-24 |
