Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Extending Access to 4
Addiction Treatment Act’’. 5

NGENERAL.—Section 1905(a)(29) of the Social 4
Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1396d(a)(29)) is amended by 5
striking ‘‘2025’’ and inserting ‘‘2035’’. 6
(b) C
ONFORMING AMENDMENT.—Section 7
1006(b)(4)(A) of the Substance Use-Disorder Prevention 8
that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Pa-9
tients and Communities Act (42 U.S.C. 1396a note) is 10
amended by striking ‘‘2025’’ and inserting ‘‘2035’’. 11
