Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Crimea Annexation 4
Non-Recognition Act’’. 5
SEC. 2. PROHIBITION AGAINST UNITED STATES RECOGNI-6
TION OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION’S CLAIM 7
OF SOVEREIGNTY OVER CRIMEA. 8
(a) S
TATEMENT OFPOLICY.—It is the policy of the 9
United States not to recognize the Russian Federation’s 10

(b) P
ROHIBITION.—In accordance with subsection 3
(a), no Federal department or agency may take any action 4
or extend any assistance that implies recognition of the 5
Russian Federation’s claim of sovereignty over Crimea, its 6
airspace, or its territorial waters. 7
