2727 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Transparency in Leg-4
2828 acy Road and Trail Remediation Act of 2023’’. 5

3939 ‘‘(B) solicit and consider public input re-8
4040 gionally in selecting projects for funding under 9
4141 the Program by— 10
4242 ‘‘(i) publishing annually, for each re-11
4343 gion, a list of projects considered for fund-12
4444 ing under the Program; 13
4545 ‘‘(ii) accepting public comment on the 14
4646 projects described in clause (i); and 15
4747 ‘‘(iii) considering public comments in 16
4848 selecting projects for funding under the 17
4949 Program;’’; and 18
5050 (B) in subparagraph (D)— 19
5151 (i) in the matter preceding clause (i), 20
5252 by inserting ‘‘annually, for each region,’’ 21
5353 before ‘‘publish’’; and 22
5454 (ii) by striking clause (ii) and insert-23
