1717 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
1818 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
1919 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
2020 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Securing American Ac-4
2121 quisitions, Readiness, and Military Stockpiles Act of 5
2222 2023’’ or the ‘‘Securing American ARMS Act of 2023’’. 6
2323 SEC. 2. EMERGENCY ACQUISITION AUTHORITY. 7
2424 Section 3601(a)(1) of title 10, United States Code, 8
2525 is amended— 9

4646 term is defined in section 201(d) of 18
4747 the Act of December 2, 1942, entitled, 19
4848 ‘To provide benefits for the injury, 20
4949 disability, death, or enemy detention 21
5050 of employees of contractors with the 22
5151 United States, and for other purposes’ 23
5252 (56 Stat. 1028, chapter 668; 42 24
5353 U.S.C. 1711(d))); or 25
