data, and for other purposes.

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Best Price for Our 4
Military Act of 2024’’. 5

SEC. 2. ELIMINATION OF LATE COST AND PRICING DATA 1
SUBMISSION DEFENSE. 2
Section 3706(c) of title 10, United States Code, is 3
amended— 4
(1) in paragraph (3) by striking ‘‘or’’ at the 5
end; 6
(2) in paragraph (4) by striking the period and 7
inserting ‘‘; or’’; and 8
(3) by adding at the end the following: 9
‘‘(5) the cost or pricing data were submitted by 10
the prime contractor or subcontractor after the date 11
of agreement on the price of the contract (or price 12
of the modification) or, if applicable consistent with 13
subsection (a)(2), such other date agreed upon be-14
tween the parties.’’. 15
