rehabilitation programs for certain veterans with service-
connected disabilities.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Streamlining Aviation 4
for Eligible Veterans Act’’ or the ‘‘SAFE Veterans Act’’. 5

SEC. 2. INCLUSION OF NON-DEGREE FLIGHT TRAINING IN 1
CERTAIN REHABILITATION PROGRAMS FOR 2
CERTAIN VETERANS WITH SERVICE-CON-3
NECTED DISABILITIES. 4
Section 3101 of title 38, United States Code, is 5
amended in paragraph (6) by adding at the end the fol-6
lowing: ‘‘A rehabilitation program may include a program 7
that includes flight training and does not lead to a de-8
gree.’’. 9
