Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Coast Guard Reserve 4
Parental Leave Parity Act’’. 5
SEC. 2. EXTENSION OF PARENTAL LEAVE TO MEMBERS OF 6
THE COAST GUARD RESERVE. 7
(a) E
XTENSION.—Section 711 of chapter 40 of title 8
10, United States Code, is amended, in subsection (b), in 9
the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking ‘‘is a 10
