21	21	Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
22	22	tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
23	23	That the following sums are appropriated, out of any 3
24	24	money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the 4
25	25	fiscal year ending September 30, 2024, and for other pur-5
26	26	poses, namely: 6

37	37	tenance, Defense-Wide’’, $4,400,000,000, to remain avail-7
38	38	able until September 30, 2025, to respond to the situation 8
39	39	in Israel: Provided, That the amount provided under this 9
40	40	heading in this Act may be may be transferred to accounts 10
41	41	under the headings ‘‘Operation and Maintenance’’, ‘‘Pro-11
42	42	curement’’, and ‘‘Revolving and Management Funds’’ for 12
43	43	replacement, through new procurement or repair of exist-13
44	44	ing unserviceable equipment, of defense articles from the 14
45	45	stocks of the Department of Defense, and for reimburse-15
46	46	ment for defense services of the Department of Defense 16
47	47	and military education and training, provided to the gov-17
48	48	ernment of Israel or identified and notified to Congress 18
49	49	for provision to the government of Israel or to foreign 19
50	50	countries that have provided support to Israel at the re-20

94	94	of the Iron Dome and David’s Sling defense systems to 6
95	95	counter short-range rocket threats: Provided further, That 7
96	96	of the total amount provided under this heading in this 8
97	97	Act, $1,200,000,000 shall be for the Secretary of Defense 9
98	98	to provide to the Government of Israel for the procure-10
99	99	ment of the Iron Beam defense system to counter short- 11
100	100	range rocket threats: Provided further, That funds in the 12
101	101	preceding provisos shall be transferred pursuant to an ex-13
102	102	change of letters and are in addition to funds provided 14
103	103	pursuant to the U.S.-Israel Iron Dome Procurement 15
