44 Resolved, That at any time after adoption of this resolu-
55 tion the Speaker may, pursuant to clause 2(b) of rule XVIII,
66 declare the House resolved into the Committee of the Whole
77 House on the state of the Union for consideration of the bill
88 (H.R. 5283) to prohibit the use of Federal funds to provide
99 housing to specified aliens on any land under the administra-
1010 tive jurisdiction of the Federal land management agencies.
1111 The first reading of the bill shall be dispensed with. All
1212 points of order against consideration of the bill are waived.
1313 General debate shall be confined to the bill and shall not ex-
1414 ceed one hour equally divided and controlled by the chair and
1515 ranking minority member of the Committee on Natural Re-
1616 sources or their respective designees. After general debate the
1717 bill shall be considered for amendment under the five-minute
1818 rule. In lieu of the amendment in the nature of a substitute
1919 recommended by the Committee on Natural Resources now
2020 printed in the bill, an amendment in the nature of a sub-
2121 stitute consisting of the text of Rules Committee Print 118– 2

2323 15 shall be considered as adopted in the House and in the
2424 Committee of the Whole. The bill, as amended, shall be con-
2525 sidered as the original bill for the purpose of further amend-
2626 ment under the five-minute rule and shall be considered as

2828 amended, are waived. No further amendment to the bill, as
2929 amended, shall be in order except those printed in part A of
3030 the report of the Committee on Rules accompanying this res-
3131 olution. Each such further amendment may be offered only
3232 in the order printed in the report, may be offered only by a
3333 Member designated in the report, shall be considered as read,
3434 shall be debatable for the time specified in the report equally
3535 divided and controlled by the proponent and an opponent,
3636 shall not be subject to amendment, and shall not be subject
3737 to a demand for division of the question in the House or in
3838 the Committee of the Whole. All points of order against such
3939 further amendments are waived. At the conclusion of consid-
4040 eration of the bill for amendment the Committee shall rise
4141 and report the bill, as amended, to the House with such fur-

4747 EC. 2. At any time after adoption of this resolution the
4848 Speaker may, pursuant to clause 2(b) of rule XVIII, declare 3

5050 the House resolved into the Committee of the Whole House
5151 on the state of the Union for consideration of the bill (H.R.
5252 5961) to freeze certain Iranian funds involved in the 2023
5353 hostage deal between the United States and Iran, and for
5454 other purposes. The first reading of the bill shall be dis-
5555 pensed with. All points of order against consideration of the
5656 bill are waived. General debate shall be confined to the bill
5757 and shall not exceed one hour equally divided and controlled
5858 by the chair and ranking minority member of the Committee
5959 on Foreign Affairs or their respective designees. After general
6060 debate the bill shall be considered for amendment under the
6161 five-minute rule. In lieu of the amendment recommended by
6262 the Committee on Foreign Affairs now printed in the bill, an
6363 amendment in the nature of a substitute consisting of the
6464 text of Rules Committee Print 118–14, modified by the
6565 amendment printed in part B of the report of the Committee
6666 on Rules accompanying this resolution, shall be considered as
6767 adopted in the House and in the Committee of the Whole.
6868 The bill, as amended, shall be considered as the original bill

9595 Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection relating to ‘‘Small
9696 Business Lending Under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act
9797 (Regulation B)’’. All points of order against consideration of
9898 the joint resolution are waived. The joint resolution shall be
9999 considered as read. All points of order against provisions in
100100 the joint resolution are waived. The previous question shall
101101 be considered as ordered on the joint resolution and on any 5
