lution; which was referred to the House Calendar and ordered to be print-
ed 
RESOLUTION 
Providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 7160) to amend 
the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to modify the limita-
tion on the amount certain married individuals can de-
duct for State and local taxes, and providing for consid-
eration of the resolution (H.Res. 987) denouncing the 
harmful, anti-American energy policies of the Biden ad-
ministration, and for other purposes. 
Resolved, That upon adoption of this resolution it 1
shall be in order to consider in the House the bill (H.R. 2

viduals can deduct for State and local taxes. All points 3
of order against consideration of the bill are waived. The 4
bill shall be considered as read. All points of order against 5
provisions in the bill are waived. The previous question 6
shall be considered as ordered on the bill and on any 7
amendment thereto to final passage without intervening 8
motion except: (1) one hour of debate equally divided and 9
controlled by the chair and ranking minority member of 10
the Committee on Ways and Means or their respective des-11
ignees; and (2) one motion to recommit. 12

EC. 2. Upon adoption of this resolution it shall be 13
in order without intervention of any point of order to con-14
sider in the House the resolution (H.Res. 987) denouncing 15
the harmful, anti-American energy policies of the Biden 16
administration, and for other purposes. The resolution 17
shall be considered as read. The previous question shall 18
be considered as ordered on the resolution and preamble 19
to adoption without intervening motion or demand for di-20
vision of the question except one hour of debate equally 21
divided and controlled by the chair and ranking minority 22
member of the Committee on Energy and Commerce or 23
their respective designees. 24
