SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Firearm Safety Act 4
of 2023’’. 5

SEC. 2. REMOVAL OF EXCLUSION OF FIREARMS FROM THE 1
DEFINITION OF CONSUMER PRODUCT. 2
Section 3(a)(5) of the Consumer Product Safety Act 3
(15 U.S.C. 2052(a)(5)) is amended by striking subpara-4
graph (E) and redesignating subparagraphs (F) through 5
(I) as subparagraphs (E) through (H), respectively. 6
