1818 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
1919 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Military Service Pro-4
2020 motion Act of 2023’’. 5
2121 SEC. 2. INCREASED ACCESS TO POTENTIAL RECRUITS AT 6
2222 SECONDARY SCHOOLS. 7
2323 Section 503(c) of title 10, United States Code, is 8

9090 SEC. 4. STUDY ON EXPANSION OF THE FUTURE SOLDIER 8
9191 PREPARATORY COURSE PILOT PROGRAM. 9
9292 (a) I
9393 NGENERAL.—Not later than 45 days after the 10
9494 date of enactment of this Act, the Under Secretary of De-11
9595 fense for Personnel and Readiness shall submit to the con-12
9696 gressional defense committees a report on the Army’s Fu-13
9797 ture Soldier Preparatory Course pilot program. 14
9898 (b) E
9999 LEMENTS.—The report required under sub-15
100100 section (a) shall include the following elements: 16
101101 (1) An assessment of the performance of the 17
102102 program in preparing interested individuals to meet 18
103103 the Army’s physical fitness and academic accession 19
104104 standards. 20
105105 (2) An assessment of whether the program 21
106106 should be expanded to include additional locations. 22
107107 (3) An assessment of whether the Navy, the 23
108108 Marine Corps, the Air Force, or the Space Force 24
109109 should create similar programs to engage and pre-25
