1616 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
1717 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
1818 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
1919 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Securing American Ac-4
2020 quisitions, Readiness, and Military Stockpiles Act of 5
2121 2023’’ or the ‘‘Securing American ARMS Act of 2023’’. 6
2222 SEC. 2. EMERGENCY ACQUISITION AUTHORITY. 7
2323 Section 3601(a)(1) of title 10, United States Code, 8
2424 is amended— 9

4545 term is defined in section 201(d) of 18
4646 the Act of December 2, 1942, entitled, 19
4747 ‘To provide benefits for the injury, 20
4848 disability, death, or enemy detention 21
4949 of employees of contractors with the 22
5050 United States, and for other purposes’ 23
5151 (56 Stat. 1028, chapter 668; 42 24
5252 U.S.C. 1711(d))); or 25
