Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Mighty Eighth Air 4
Force National Museum Act’’. 5

SEC. 2. DESIGNATION OF NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE 1
MIGHTY EIGHTH AIR FORCE. 2
(a) D
ESIGNATION.—The National Museum of the 3
Mighty Eighth Air Force located at 175 Bourne Avenue, 4
Pooler, Georgia (or any successor location), is designated 5
as the official National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air 6
Force of the United States (referred to in this section as 7
the ‘‘National Museum’’). 8
(b) R
ELATION TONATIONALPARKSYSTEM.—The 9
National Museum shall not be included as a unit of the 10
National Park System. 11
(c) R
ULE OFCONSTRUCTION.—This section shall not 12
be construed to appropriate, or authorize the appropria-13
tion of, Federal funds for any purpose related to the Na-14
tional Museum. 15
