To reauthorize the program of first responder training.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Safe Response Act’’. 4
SEC. 2. REAUTHORIZATION OF PROGRAM. 5
Section 546(h) of the Public Health Service Act (42 6
U.S.C. 290ee–1(h)) is amended by striking ‘‘$36,000,000 7
for each of fiscal years 2019 through 2023’’ and by insert-8
ing ‘‘$57,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2024 through 9
2028’’. 10
