Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. GUIDANCE ON DEVELOPING NON-ADDICTIVE 3
MEDICAL PRODUCTS TO TREAT PAIN OR AD-4
DICTION. 5
Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment 6
of this Act, the Secretary of Health and Human Services 7
shall issue draft guidance under section 3001(b) of the 8
SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act (21 U.S.C. 9
