14	14	To amend title 38, United States Code, to improve the
15	15	methods by which the Secretary of Veterans Affairs con-
16	16	ducts oversight of certain educational institutions, and
17	17	for other purposes.
18	18	Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
19	19	tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
20	20	SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
21	21	This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Isakson-Roe Education 4
22	22	Oversight Expansion Act’’. 5

27	27	FAIRS OVERSIGHT OF CERTAIN EDU-2
28	28	CATIONAL INSTITUTIONS. 3
29	29	(a) A
30	30	DDITIONALREQUIREMENT FOR APPROVAL.— 4
31	31	Section 3675(b) of title 38, United States Code, is amend-5
32	32	ed by adding at the end the following new paragraph: 6
33	33	‘‘(5) The educational institution agrees to, not 7
34	34	later than 30 days after any date on which such 8
35	35	educational institution becomes subject to an action 9
36	36	or event described in section 3673(e)(3) of this title, 10
37	37	submit to the State approving agency, or the Sec-11
38	38	retary when acting in the role of a State approving 12
39	39	agency, a notification of such action or event in such 13
40	40	form and containing such information as the Sec-14
41	41	retary determines appropriate.’’. 15

45	45	ONACCREDITEDCOURSES.— 17

47	47	N GENERAL.—Section 3676(c) of such title 18
48	48	is amended— 19
49	49	(A) by redesignating paragraphs (14) 20
50	50	through (16) as paragraphs (15) through (17), 21
51	51	respectively; and 22
52	52	(B) by inserting after paragraph (13) the 23
53	53	following new paragraph: 24
54	54	‘‘(14) The institution agrees to, not later than 25
55	55	30 days after any date on which such institution be-26

61	61	proving agency, or the Secretary when acting in the 3
62	62	role of a State approving agency, a notification of 4

64	64	such information as the Secretary determines appro-6
65	65	priate.’’. 7

68	68	further amended— 9
69	69	(A) in section 3672(b)(2)(C), by striking 10
70	70	‘‘paragraph (14) or (15)’’ and inserting ‘‘para-11
71	71	graph (15) or (16)’’; 12
72	72	(B) in section 3675(b)(3), by striking 13
73	73	‘‘(14), (15), and (16)’’ and inserting ‘‘(15), 14
74	74	(16), and (17)’’; 15
75	75	(C) in section 3679(d), by striking ‘‘de-16
76	76	scribed in paragraph (14) or (15)’’ and insert-17
77	77	ing ‘‘described in paragraph (15) or (16)’’; and 18
78	78	(D) in section 3680A(a)(4)(C)(iii), by 19
79	79	striking ‘‘section 3676(c)(14) and (15)’’ and in-20
80	80	serting ‘‘section 3676(c)(15) and (16)’’. 21

92	92	EADLINE FOR RISK-BASEDSURVEYSDATA-4
93	93	BASE.—The Secretary of Veterans Affairs shall establish 5
94	94	the database required under section 3673A(c) of title 38, 6
95	95	United States Code, by not later than 180 days after the 7
96	96	date of the enactment of this Act. 8
