2424 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Love Lives On Act 4

3636 (A) by inserting ‘‘(i)’’ before ‘‘The remar-8

3838 (B) in clause (i), as designated by subpara-10
3939 graph (A), by striking ‘‘Notwithstanding the 11
4040 previous sentence’’ and inserting the following: 12
4141 ‘‘(ii) Notwithstanding clause (i)’’; and 13
4242 (C) by adding at the end the following new 14

4444 ‘‘(iii) Notwithstanding clause (ii), the remarriage of 16

7171 retary may not terminate payment of an annu-14

7373 graph (A) or (B) of section 1448(d)(1) solely 16
7474 because that surviving spouse remarries. In the 17
7575 case of a surviving spouse who remarried before 18
7676 reaching age 55 and before the date of the en-19
7777 actment of Love Lives On Act of 2025, the Sec-20
7878 retary shall resume payment of the annuity to 21
7979 that surviving spouse— 22
8080 ‘‘(i) except as provided by clause (ii), 23
8181 for each month that begins on or after the 24
8282 date that is one year after such date of en-25
8383 actment; or 26
