3030 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Protection of Women 4
3131 in Olympic and Amateur Sports Act’’. 5

3535 SEC. 2. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS. 1

3737 EFINITION.—Section 220501(b) of title 36, 2
3838 United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the 3
3939 following: 4
4040 ‘‘(13) ‘female’ means an individual who has, 5
4141 had, will have—or would have, but for a develop-6
4242 mental or genetic anomaly or historical accident— 7
4343 the reproductive system that at some point produces, 8
4444 transports, and utilizes eggs for fertilization. 9
4545 ‘‘(14) ‘male’ means an individual who has, had, 10
4646 will have—or would have, but for a developmental or 11
4747 genetic anomaly or historical accident—the repro-12
4848 ductive system that at some point produces, trans-13
4949 ports, and utilizes sperm for fertilization. 14
5050 ‘‘(15) ‘sex’ means an individual’s biological sex, 15
5151 either male or female.’’. 16

5353 LIGIBILITY.—Section 220522 of title 36, United 17
5454 States Code, is amended— 18
5555 (1) in paragraph (18), by striking ‘‘and’’ at the 19
5656 end; 20
5757 (2) in paragraph (19), by striking the period 21
5858 and inserting ‘‘; and’’; and 22
5959 (3) by adding at the end the following: 23
