77 | 77 | | gram of comprehensive assistance for family care-10 |

78 | 78 | | givers under subsection (a) of section 1720G of title 11 |

79 | 79 | | 38, United States Code, is no longer clinically eligi-12 |
---|
80 | 80 | | ble for purposes of such program, the Secretary 13 |
---|
81 | 81 | | shall extend benefits under such program, including 14 |
---|
82 | 82 | | stipends under paragraph (3)(A)(ii)(V) of such sub-15 |
---|
83 | 83 | | section, for not less than 90 days after the date of 16 |
---|
84 | 84 | | notification under subsection (b) that the veteran is 17 |
---|
85 | 85 | | no longer clinically eligible. 18 |

87 | 87 | | XCLUSION.—Paragraph (1) shall not apply 19 |

88 | 88 | | to the termination of caregiver benefits— 20 |
---|
89 | 89 | | (A) if the Secretary determines that the 21 |

90 | 90 | | family caregiver committed fraud or abused or 22 |
---|
91 | 91 | | neglected the veteran; 23 |

92 | 92 | | (B) if the family caregiver was designated 24 |
