To authorize the President to enter into negotiations to
acquire Greenland and to rename Greenland as ‘‘Red,
White, and Blueland’’.

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Red, White, and 4
Blueland Act of 2025’’. 5

SEC. 2. PURCHASE OR OTHER ACQUISITION OF GREEN-1
LAND. 2
The President is authorized to enter into negotiations 3
with the Government of Denmark to purchase or otherwise 4
acquire Greenland. 5
SEC. 3. RENAMING OF GREENLAND AS ‘‘RED, WHITE, AND 6
BLUELAND’’. 7
(a) R
ENAMING.—Greenland shall be known as ‘‘Red, 8
White, and Blueland’’. 9
(b) R
EFERENCES.—Any reference in a law, map, reg-10
ulation, document, paper, or other record of the United 11
States to Greenland shall be deemed to be a reference to 12
‘‘Red, White, and Blueland’’. 13

MPLEMENTATION.— 14
(1) I
N GENERAL.—The Secretary of the Inte-15
rior, acting through the Chairman of the Board on 16
Geographic Names, shall oversee the implementation 17
of the renaming described in subsection (a) with re-18
spect to each Federal document and map. 19
(2) R
EQUIREMENT.—Not later than 180 days 20
after the date of the enactment of this section, the 21
head of each Federal agency shall update each docu-22
ment and map of the Federal agency in accordance 23
with the renaming described in subsection (a). 24
