A BILL 
To amend the Communications Act of 1934 to prohibit Fed-
eral funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, 
and for other purposes. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘No Propaganda Act’’. 4

SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON FEDERAL FUNDS FOR CORPORA-1
TION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING. 2
(a) I
NGENERAL.—Section 396 of the Communica-3
tions Act of 1934 (47 U.S.C. 396) is amended by adding 4
at the end the following new subsection: 5
‘‘(m) P
ROHIBITION ONFEDERALFUNDS.—No Fed-6
eral funds may be made available to the Corporation after 7
the date of the enactment of the No Propaganda Act.’’. 8

ORPORATIONPROHIBITEDFROMACCEPTING 9

EDERALFUNDS.—Section 396(g) of the Communica-10
tions Act of 1934 (47 U.S.C. 396(g)) is amended— 11
(1) in paragraph (2)(A), by inserting ‘‘subject 12
to paragraph (3)(C),’’ before ‘‘obtain’’; and 13
(2) in paragraph (3)— 14
(A) in subparagraph (A), by striking ‘‘; 15
and’’ and inserting a semicolon; 16
(B) in subparagraph (B), by striking the 17
period at the end and inserting ‘‘; and’’; and 18
(C) by adding at the end the following new 19
subparagraph: 20
‘‘(C) accepting funds from the Federal Govern-21
ment after the date of the enactment of the No 22
Propaganda Act.’’. 23
(c) R
ESCISSION.—Any unobligated balances of 24
amounts made available under the heading ‘‘Corporation 25
for Public Broadcasting’’ in the Consolidated Appropria-26

(d) C
ONFORMING AMENDMENT.—Section 4
396(k)(3)(A)(iv)(II) of the Communications Act of 1934 5
(47 U.S.C. 396(k)(3)(A)(iv)(II)) is amended by inserting 6
‘‘before the date of the enactment of the No Propaganda 7
Act’’ after ‘‘amounts received’’. 8
