A BILL
To prohibit Federal funding for the Public Broadcasting
Service and National Public Radio and to provide for
the transfer of certain Federal funds that would have

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Defund Government- 4
Sponsored Propaganda Act’’. 5

SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON FEDERAL FUNDING FOR PUBLIC 1
BROADCASTING SERVICE AND NATIONAL 2
PUBLIC RADIO. 3
(a) I
NGENERAL.—After the date of enactment of 4
this Act, no Federal funds may, directly or indirectly, be 5
made available to or used to support an organization de-6
scribed in subsection (b), including through the payment 7
of dues to or the purchase of programming from the orga-8
nization by a public broadcast station using Federal funds 9
received by the station. 10
(b) O
RGANIZATIONSDESCRIBED.—The organizations 11
described in this subsection are— 12
(1) the organization known, as of the date of 13
enactment of this Act, as the ‘‘Public Broadcasting 14
Service’’; 15
(2) the organization known, as of the date of 16
enactment of this Act, as ‘‘National Public Radio’’; 17
and 18
(3) any successor organization to an organiza-19
tion described in paragraph (1) or (2). 20

RANSFER OFCERTAINFUNDSTOREDUCE THE 21

UBLICDEBT.—For fiscal years 2025, 2026, and 2027, 22
the Corporation for Public Broadcasting shall transfer to 23
the account established by section 3113(d) of title 31, 24
United States Code, an amount equal to the sum of the 25
amounts allocated under clauses (ii) and (iii) of section 26
