A BILL
To require the imposition of sanctions with respect to
Ansarallah and its officials, agents, or affiliates for acts
of international terrorism.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. IMPOSITION OF SANCTIONS WITH RESPECT TO 3
ANSARALLAH. 4
(a) I
NGENERAL.—Not later than 30 days after the 5
date of the enactment of this Act, the President shall des-6
ignate Ansarallah as a foreign terrorist organization pur-7
suant to section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality 8
Act (8 U.S.C. 1189). 9

(b) DETERMINATIONREQUIRED.—Not later than 30 1
days after the President makes the designation required 2
by subsection (a), the President shall submit to the Com-3
mittee on Foreign Relations of the Senate and the Com-4
mittee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives 5
a determination regarding whether the following foreign 6
persons are officials, agents, or affiliates of Ansarallah: 7
(1) Abdul Malik al-Houthi. 8
(2) Abd al-Khaliq Badr al-Din al-Houthi. 9
(3) Abdullah Yahya al-Hakim. 10
(c) A
NSARALLAHDEFINED.—In this section, the 11
term ‘‘Ansarallah’’ means the movement known as 12
Ansarallah, the Houthi movement, or any other alias. 13
