3535 STABLISHMENT.—The Secretary of Veterans 5
3636 Affairs shall implement a pilot program to furnish HBOT 6
3737 to a veteran who has a traumatic brain injury or post- 7
3838 traumatic stress disorder through a health care provider 8
3939 described in section 1703(c)(5) of title 38, United States 9
4040 Code. 10
4141 (b) L
4242 OCATIONS.—The Secretary shall select three 11
4343 Veterans Integrated Service Networks in which to operate 12
4444 the pilot program. 13

4646 UNDING.— 14
4747 (1) There is in the general fund of the Treasury 15
4848 a fund to be known as the ‘‘VA HBOT Fund’’ (in 16
4949 this Act referred to as the ‘‘Fund’’). 17
5050 (2) The sole source of monies for the Fund 18
5151 shall be donations received by the Secretary for ex-19
5252 press purposes of the Fund. 20
5353 (3) Amounts in the Fund shall be available to 21
5454 the Secretary without fiscal year limitation to pay 22
5555 for HBOT under subsection (a). 23
5656 (4) The Fund shall terminate on the termi-24
5757 nation date under subsection (d). 25

6161 (d) TERMINATION.—The pilot program shall termi-1
6262 nate on the day that is five years after the date of the 2
6363 enactment of this Act. 3
6464 (e) HBOT D
6565 EFINED.—In this Act, the term 4
6666 ‘‘HBOT’’ means hyperbaric oxygen therapy with a medical 5
6767 device— 6
6868 (1) approved by the Food and Drug Adminis-7
6969 tration; or 8
7070 (2) issued an investigational device exemption 9
7171 by the Food and Drug Administration. 10
