21	21	Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
22	22	tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
23	23	SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
24	24	This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Secure Rural Schools 4
25	25	Reauthorization Act of 2025’’. 5

37	37	Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Deter-6
38	38	mination Act of 2000 (16 U.S.C. 7111) is amend-7
39	39	ed— 8
40	40	(A) in subsections (a) and (b), by striking 9
41	41	‘‘2023’’ each place it appears and inserting 10
42	42	‘‘2026’’; and 11
43	43	(B) by adding at the end the following: 12

49	49	TATE PAYMENT.—If an eligible county in 15
50	50	a State that will receive a share of the State pay-16
51	51	ment for fiscal year 2024 or 2025 has already re-17
52	52	ceived, or will receive, a share of the 25-percent pay-18
53	53	ment for that fiscal year distributed to the State be-19
54	54	fore the date of enactment of this subsection, the 20
55	55	amount of the State payment shall be reduced by 21
56	56	the amount of the share of the eligible county of the 22
57	57	25-percent payment. 23
58	58	‘‘(2) C
59	59	OUNTY PAYMENT.—If an eligible county 24
60	60	that will receive a county payment for fiscal year 25
61	61	2024 or 2025 has already received a 50-percent pay-26

66	66	payment shall be reduced by the amount of the 50- 2
67	67	percent payment. 3

69	69	ROMPT PAYMENT .—Not later than 45 4
70	70	days after the date of enactment of this subsection, 5
71	71	the Secretary of the Treasury shall make all pay-6
72	72	ments under this title for each of fiscal years 2024 7
73	73	and 2025.’’. 8

76	76	COUNTIES.—Section 103(d)(2) of the Secure Rural 10
77	77	Schools and Community Self-Determination Act of 11
78	78	2000 (16 U.S.C. 7113(d)(2)) is amended by striking 12
79	79	‘‘2023’’ and inserting ‘‘2026’’. 13
