7	16		to be submitted by the Tennessee Valley Authority, and
8	17		for other purposes.
9	18		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
10		-	tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 2

12		-	SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 1
13		-	This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Tennessee Valley Au-2
14		-	thority Salary Transparency Act’’. 3
15		-	SEC. 2. SALARY DISCLOSURE; EXCEPTION TO REPORT 4
16		-	ELIMINATION. 5
17		-	Section 9 of the Tennessee Valley Authority Act of 6
18		-	1933 (16 U.S.C. 831h) is amended— 7
19		-	(1) in subsection (a), by striking ‘‘a financial 8
20		-	statement’’ and all that follows through ‘‘$1,500 a 9
21		-	year’’ and inserting ‘‘a report of the total number of 10
22		-	employees at the management level or above, to in-11
23		-	clude all executives and board members, that shall 12
24		-	include the names, salaries, and duties of such em-13
25		-	ployees, that are receiving compensation at or great-14
26		-	er than the maximum rate of basic pay for grade 15
27		-	GS–15 of the General Schedule’’; 16
28		-	(2) by striking all that precedes ‘‘The Board 17
29		-	shall’’ and inserting the following: 18

46		-	Congressionally Mandated Reports Act (Public 6
47		-	Law 117–263).’’. 7
