3030 SEC. 2. REPORT ON ACTIONS TAKEN BY DEPARTMENT OF 1

3232 (a) R
3333 EPORT.—The Comptroller General of the 3
3434 United States shall prepare a report on the actions taken 4
3535 by the Department of Government Efficiency, as estab-5
3636 lished by Executive Order 14158 (related to establishing 6
3737 and implementing the President’s ‘‘Department of Gov-7
3838 ernment Efficiency’’), and shall include in the report— 8
3939 (1) an analysis of the effects of such actions, 9
4040 including actions resulting in the reduction of the 10
4141 number of employees in the civil service, the termi-11
4242 nation of Federal programs, and the pausing and re-12
4343 starting of Federal programs, on the long-term fi-13
4444 nancial, public health, and safety interests of the 14
4545 United States; and 15
4646 (2) the extent to which the Department of Gov-16
4747 ernment Efficiency has carried out such actions in 17
4848 compliance with section 552a of title 5, United 18
4949 States Code (commonly known as the ‘‘Privacy Act 19
5050 of 1974’’) and chapter 131 of such title. 20

5252 EADLINE FORSUBMISSION.—The Comptroller 21
5353 General of the United States shall submit the report pre-22
5454 pared under subsection (a) to Congress not later than De-23
